Waterside J vs Waterside G
An enjoyable match with good rapport. The play was, at times, very careful and considered. Hence, the late finish. Well done Dave for a solid, value-for-money performance.

Soton West O vs Waterside Q
After having to play the first match with 2 reserves (and a player short) and having to postpone the second match because no one was available, the Q team finally got underway with quite a strong team. Player of the match Siche Qian won all of his matches in 3 straight sets, and looked in impressive form especially with his forehand winners. Alan Bone also won all three of his matches and just lost one set. The chaps were ably assisted by Li Xin, winning one but coming close in her other matches. Both Siche and Li have improved their game since joining Waterside, and on tonight’s performance this team is looking good. So congratulations Q team, a well deserved 8-2 win.
