Soton West I vs Waterside J
This was a well contested match and was closer than the result might suggest, with 4 of the games going to closely fought 5 sets. South West Ito is a young, energetic team with good potential. Congratulations are due to Matthew for his marvellous play and well deserved “Player of the Match” award. 5E4A8360The contest did not finish until about 10.45pm due to the very late start (about 7.30pm) because there was no-one to open up the cupboard containing the playing equipment.

Waterside O vs Waterside Q
Debutant James Campbell played sterling defence and was unlucky not to come away with something. Despite being under the weather, Kim Webb maintained her 100 percent record. Some very arractive table tennis played by all of us tonight – not quite a match for the Prems on the other tables, but getting there…
